M.R. Pittman Group, LLC was a joint venture partner with Broadmoor Construction, LLC hired to furnish and install a new drainage pump station at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 600 CFS pump station construction included all mechanical, electrical, and control work related to the pumping station and operator safe house structure. Scope included pump station mechanical including 4 EA 54” vertical pump assembly units with right angle gear drives, diesel engine package, 1600’-0” of elevated 54” steel discharge piping, 3 EA 20’-0” climber screen cleaner packages and compressed air system with over 1600’-0” of compressed air piping. Pump station mechanical items also included compressed and instrument air systems, diesel fuel, waste oil, drainage, sewage treatment, water supply and HVAC systems.
